Terms of Service
Terms governing use of legalcaresupport.life and general engagement conditions.
Last updated: August 2026.
1. Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legal agreement between you and Legal Care Support regarding your access to and use of the website at legalcaresupport.life ("Website") and general conditions applicable before a formal client engagement letter is signed.
By accessing the Website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Website. Separate written terms apply once you formally engage us for legal services.
2. About Legal Care Support
Legal Care Support is an independent legal practice operating from 140 Robinson Road, #08-01, Singapore 068907. We provide civil litigation, defence representation, and regulatory advisory services under Singapore law.
We are not affiliated with the Singapore government, the Law Society of Singapore, or any other law firm unless explicitly stated in a written engagement. References to courts, statutes, or agencies on the Website describe the legal environment in which we practise.
3. Website content
Content on the Website — including practice area descriptions, legal insights, and procedural analyses — is provided for general information only. It does not constitute legal advice and must not be relied upon as a substitute for advice tailored to your specific circumstances.
We make reasonable efforts to ensure content is accurate and current, but we do not warrant that information is complete, error-free, or applicable to every situation. Laws and court procedures change; content may not reflect the most recent developments.
Legal insights and articles do not identify individuals, comment on live proceedings, or express views on guilt or innocence in any matter.
4. No client relationship from website use
Using the Website, submitting an enquiry form, or contacting us by email or telephone does not create a lawyer-client relationship. A relationship is formed only when we confirm acceptance of your instructions in writing and any required conflict checks are completed.
Until a formal engagement is confirmed, information you send may not be protected by legal professional privilege in all circumstances. Do not send highly sensitive documents until we advise you that an engagement is in place.
5. Enquiry form
The contact form is for general legal enquiries only. It is not a payment portal, login page, or account verification form. Do not submit credit card numbers, passwords, or one-time verification codes through the form.
We aim to respond to enquiries within one business day. Response times may vary during public holidays or when messages require urgent routing to a specific practice group.
6. Fees and quotations
Initial consultation fees start from SGD 280 as stated on the Website. Final fees depend on matter complexity, documents reviewed, and time required. Detailed quotes for substantive work are provided before billable tasks commence unless emergency circumstances require immediate action with subsequent confirmation.
Fee information on the Website is indicative only and does not bind us to a particular price for your matter. A written engagement letter or costs agreement governs fees once you instruct us.
Disbursements — such as court filing fees, process server charges, or expert reports — are separate from professional fees and are either paid directly by you to third parties or reimbursed to us where we advance them on your behalf, as set out in your engagement letter.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Website for unlawful purposes or to transmit harmful, defamatory, or fraudulent content
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our servers, data directories, or includes folders
- Introduce malware, automated scraping tools, or denial-of-service traffic
- Impersonate Legal Care Support, our lawyers, or any third party
- Reproduce substantial portions of Website content for commercial redistribution without written permission
We may suspend access to the Website for conduct that violates these Terms or threatens security. We may also report suspected unlawful activity to relevant authorities where required.
8. Confidentiality of enquiries
Information submitted through the enquiry form is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. While we treat all communications professionally, a full lawyer-client relationship — and the protections of legal professional privilege — arises only after we confirm engagement in writing. Until then, avoid sending documents you would not want disclosed if we cannot act due to a conflict of interest.
9. Intellectual property
Text, layout, logos, and original graphics on the Website are owned by or licensed to Legal Care Support. You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial reference. Any other use requires prior written consent.
Photographs used on the Website are licensed for display on this site. Statutory references and publicly available legal materials are not claimed as proprietary content.
10. Third-party services
The Website may embed or link to third-party services such as Google Maps and Google Fonts. Your use of those services is subject to the respective provider terms and privacy policies. We do not control third-party content or availability.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
The Website is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by Singapore law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Website.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Legal Care Support and its lawyers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Website or reliance on its content.
Our total liability for claims relating to Website use shall not exceed SGD 100 except where liability cannot be excluded by law. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under Singapore law.
Professional liability for legal services is governed by the engagement letter and applicable professional indemnity arrangements, not solely by these Website Terms.
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Legal Care Support from claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms or misuse of the Website, except to the extent caused by our wilful misconduct.
14. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any dispute arising from or relating to the Website or these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore, unless mandatory consumer protection rules require otherwise.
If you access the Website from outside Singapore, you are responsible for compliance with local laws. Content describing Singapore legal procedure is intended for matters connected to Singapore jurisdiction.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force. The invalid provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable.
16. Changes
We may revise these Terms at any time by posting an updated version on this page. Your continued use of the Website after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. Review this page periodically.
